Job Description


Discovery Primary School Governors are seeking to appoint a highly inspirational, creative and committed teacher with experience of teaching ASD.  This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher with ASD experience to join a team of highly skilled and committed teachers who believe in delivering an innovative and creative curriculum to our students.

Discovery Primary School is a culturally diverse three-form-entry school with its own nursery and DSP for children on the autistic spectrum.  It is situated in Thamesmead, in the London Borough of Greenwich. Our school is welcoming and inclusive with extensive facilities to be proud of.

Staff and Governors have high expectations for our children and we are committed to providing a safe, secure and stimulating environment, where everyone can develop their skills and talents in a variety of ways and to the best of their abilities.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • An experienced teacher with a passion for teaching children with ASD.
  • Dedicated to achieving the highest possible standards and outcomes for pupils
  • Able to inspire pupils to deliver the highest quality teaching and learning
